LISEIA's core mission is to ensure the growth and longevity of the solar industry on Long Island and beyond, reducing consumer energy costs while preserving our beautiful environment for future generations.

We support economically viable and environmentally responsible implementations of renewable clean energy systems, including solar PV electric power, solar thermal, solar hot water and concentrated solar.

Our all volunteer membership of renewable energy sector professionals and educators donate their time to protect and expand our regions' vibrant clean sustainable energy movement.

LISEIA is proud to be an official task force of NYSEIA, the New York Solar Energy Industries Association. 

We represent approximately 85% of Long Island's solar industry professional organizations, including contractors, suppliers, electrical inspectors, architects and engineers.

LISEIA also works in collaboratively with many government and non-profit organizations, notably Renewable Energy Long Island, RELI, and all county, city, town and village governments, of whom we represent.
