Nassau Habitat for Humanity, Elmont NY LISEIA Solar Installation 07/10/2010

LISEIA Volunteers & friends installed a 3.1 kW solar PV system on a new LEED Gold affordable Elmont home built by Habitat for Humanity volunteers. 18 176watt Sharp Panels, PV Powered 3000 watt inverter, black Unirac Solarmount racking, quickmount flashings. LIPA Solar Pioneer Program support via rebate.

Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray & HfH Tom Baccarella presented LISEIA, Gene Surdi, Jerry Flaherty & Bill Feldman with plaques. News 12 aired a segment. Jerry Flaherty of Electrical Inspection Service, Inc. organized LISEIA's effort. Equipment donated by Bill Feldman's Empire Clean Energy Systems.
