Sail asked that this topic be posted for continued discussion of the licensing issues raised during the November Members Meeting. Topics included proliferation of new fees, licenses or electrical permits in Suffolk's towns and villages and what LISEIA's position on this should be. Kevin MacLeod presented several issues and possible actions that could be taken at a local, county or state level. Steering requests that members provide input in order to help guide us as to what LISEIA's official position and action should be (if any) regarding these topics. Unified licenses, county only licenses, limits on local license charges, fees, etc. and home rule issues were discussed.
